A helicopter tour around Tianjin to help tourists get an overhead view of the city’s landmarks in a remarkable way will be launched ahead of the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 10th this year.
There are two options: a 30-minute helicopter tour around the TEDA Football Stadium, the Tianjin Bund, the Dagu Forts, the Dongjiang Bay, the Tianjin Central Fishing Port and the 42.3-meter-tall Mazu statue; and a 15-minute seaview helicopter tour.
Mr. Qiu Hongping, the general manager of the Eastern General Aviation Corporation said: “tourists who want to go on a helicopter ride around Tianjin can make reservations at the Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park, the Binhai International Airport and the Eastern General airport.”
The tourists will fly in a twin-engine helicopter with up to 12 seats for pilots and tourists.
Mr. Qiu said that more tour routes would be added, such as tour around offshore oil rigs.
