The Tianjin West Railway Station is a future high-speed railway station in Tianjin, People's Republic of China. It serving by Jinghu Railway and Tsubo Railway, and will be served by the Jinghu High-Speed Railway.

Extension Project

In 2008, begin renovation and expansion in station, with under construction of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. After the completion of Jinghu High-Speed Railway, Jingjin Intercity Railway, Diameter underground line in Tianjin after the introduction of Tianjin, Tianjin West Railway Station site was adjusted to 13 units of 24 lines. Which has 9 high-speed 17-yard lines, S & P set 4 yard 7-speed line. The reconstruction of the station house contains two new North-South station house, overhead waiting room, contact North-South Corridor Square Underground passengers, baggage and parcel authentic and so on. It can be achieved in the West railway station, bus, subway (Tianjin Metro Line 1, 4, 6) of the zero distance transfer, Tianjin West Railway Station will replace the station to become the largest transportation hub of Tianjin.

February 4, 2009, the Jinghu High-Speed Railway to start the new Tianjin West Railway Station, Tianjin West Railway Station to begin a comprehensive transformation, the project will replace the Tianjin Railway Station to become the largest integrated transportation hub, passengers can be achieved in the station the railway, subway, bus, taxi and other transport direct transfer.[2] In line with the renovation project, May 4, 2009 zero hour, Tianjin West Railway Station to stop for passenger business, and stop the ticket on the same day; and willow station as a temporary bus terminal, take over all passenger train in Tianjin West Railway Station then made. Tianjin West Railway Station is expected to be new completed in 2012.
