Workout secrets: Victoria's Secret has released a series of fitness videos featuring its own Angels in the lead up to its famous runway show on December 4th
Victoria's Secret has released a series of workout videos starring its own Angels in the lead up to the lingerie brand's famous runway show on December 4th.
Over the next nine weeks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton star in the fitness videos, concentrating on arms, core, legs and glutes.
With videos featuring side planks, tricep dips, squats, and kick boxing moves, Miss Swanepoel says in the preview video: 'People always ask us how we get runway ready for the Victoria's Secret fashion show. What does it take for us to train like an Angel? We'll show you.'
The promotional Train Like an Angel videos, which also advertise the Victoria's Secret workout gear VXS, also feature 'real women' who follow the Angels' advice with trainer Justin Gelband.
Editors from Shape magazine, FitSugar and Fashionista join the models in their quest for 'runway ready' bodies, with all the women wearing different outfits from VXS.
'Workout gear is super important,' says Miss Swanepoel. 'When you look good you work out harder'.

Super moves: The videos were made after people continued to ask how the Victoria's Secret models get in shape for the brand's runway show each year
She adds: 'Because we're kind of runway ready all year round, I usually step up my workouts two weeks before the show'.
Miss Ambrosio, wearing the VSX training tank, says she just does 'some yoga and Pilates'.
'Get strong legs that are runway ready, get your glutes toned, your arms beautifully sculpted, and get a solid core with our killer ab workout,' the trio say together.
In a ten minute video with Victoria's Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes and supermodel trainer Michael Olajide, the pair 'help you get your sexiest arms ever' with a customized fitness routine.
While Miss Kroes demonstrates, Mr Olajide says: 'For the arms you don't want to bulk, you want to keep it sleek. And that's what we're going to do.
'After a warm up of one to two minutes, doing star jumps, the first exercise we're going to do is small pulses on the down.
'Get your body into push-up position, hands under the chest. Go down partially, not the full push up. And once you get comfortable, you go as fast as you can. Do it for thirty seconds and as many intervals as you want.'
After ten workout examples, concentrating on the arms, Miss Kroes says: 'Follow this workout an you'll be on to the sexiest arms ever'.
