Phase I of the Tianjin Happy Magic Watercube will be open to tourists by the end of May next year 2013, in Binhai New Area.

On November 4th the 20,000-square-meter whirlpool at what will be China's largest water park was very near completion.

A wacky 3-kilometer drift river, the longest in China, will be built near the whirlpool.

Phase I of the water park will include crazy slides named the Deep Sea Tornado and Cannon Bowl, aqua games for kids and a water roller coaster.

The admission price will be set nearly 200 yuan (US$32), and an evening show will be added in July.

The Phase-II construction, to be completed by 2014, will include a manmade salt lake, spa and a halotherapy center.
