Japan will impose anti-dumping duty on TDI made in China for five years

the Japanese government decided on July 7 to impose five-year anti-dumping duties on toluene diisocyanate produced in China, on the ground that these products were sold in Japan at an improper low price, harming the interests of Japanese enterprises. in December last year, the Japanese government imposed a temporary anti-dumping duty on toluene diisocyanate produced in China for four months up to April 24 this year. The cabinet meeting will soon decide to impose an anti-dumping duty of 69.4% of the import price for five years from April 25.

according to the Ministry of finance, the Chinese government has so far made no special response to Japan's measures to impose anti-dumping duties.
