In 2009, the University reached a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Pujing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and Anhui Huaihua group to build a 1000 t / a pilot plant of coal-based syngas to ethylene glycol in Anhui Huaihua group. In August 2011, the pilot plant successfully produced high-grade ethylene glycol products, which verified the rationality of the technology and obtained further enlarged data, which laid a solid foundation for the industrialization of the technology.
